- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Since I moved away from Winchester, I haven't attended City Bridge Dental but after reading these (admittedly old) reviews I thought it was worth adding my own experience of the practice. Yes, it is expensive and it may be tempting to question the fees. However, there is also the question of quality of work. I first went to the practice in 1998 after problems with another (cheaper) dentist's attempts to fix one of my crowns. Nick Ross was happy to sort things out for me and the crown he gave me is still in situ. A similar thing happened years later when I needed a crown after a section of tooth broke off a week before I was due to go holiday. My then dentist told me it couldn't be arranged in time and as my problem was not an 'emergency' there was nothing she could do. To me, it was an emergency and in a panic, I again contacted City Bridge Dental. As soon as I heard the receptionist's calm response, I knew everything was going to be OK. And it was. There were no problems, no insistence that I register first, no having to wait. Nick Ross was busy but Mark Aston expedited a new crown that fitted perfectly - and again is still in situ. Which brings me to the crux - nothing City Bridge has done for me has ever failed and that includes fillings as well as crowns. I live in Gloucestershire now and am happy with my present dentist but if I needed any major work done I might still return to the City Bridge practice. Expensive? - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had been with City Bridge for over 5 years and can say that the treatment is superb and Nick Ross is an excellent dentist. He "repaired" my badly managed teeth and his attention to detail is excellent BUT, the practice is now, in my opinion, excessively expensive and have gone beyond what is a a high end yet reasonable price for good work. I think Nick and his partners have begun to believe too much their own PR - their choice what they charge but this is one previously loyal client that won;t be going back, they are not worth that much i.e. £1,250 for a crown!!!by A Google UserOctober 04, 2017
